Commodities NZ Ltd imports high quality Activated Carbons that have been specially developed for air and liquid filtration applications. Some of these applications include domestic drinking water, industrial and domestic wastewater, effluent treatment and also used for filtration in the beverage industry. Adding to this Activated Carbon can be blended with other products such as Zeolites to compliment each others qualities when used in the Agriculture and Horticulture sector.

Activated Carbons are manufactured from high quality coconut shell charcoal, wood and carbonized coal. When processed, Activated Carbons posses an exceptionally high developed pore structure to maximize their effectiveness, because of this they show a very high degree of durability and resistance to abrasion and the associated breakdown. The different characteristics of different forms and grades of Activated Carbons determine which application each type of product is best suited for.
